ঢাকার কর্মজীবন ও যানজট

সকাল ৭:৩০ এ ঘুম থেকে উঠে গোসল, নাস্তা করে ৮টায় বাসা থেকে বের হয়ে অফিসের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা দেয় সাধারন কর্মজীবী মানুষেরা। অফিস শুরু ১০টায়, অনেকের ৯টায়। রাস্তায় ২ ঘন্টা জ্যাম ঠেলে ভালবাসার কর্মস্থলে হাজির। অফিসের কাজে ৮-১০ ঘন্টায় যে কষ্ট না হত, জ্যামে সেই কষ্টটা করতে হল! আবার বাসায় ফেরার পথেও ২ঘন্টা অপচয়। এই যে দৈনিক ৪ ঘন্টা অপচয়, এর মূল্য কি বা কে দিবে? কেন এই জ্যাম? আমরা কি ভেবে দেখেছি? আমাদের কী করা উচিত? ঢাকা যখন আস্তে আস্তে, নগরায়ন, শিল্পায়ন শহর হচ্ছিল তখন থেকে আজ অবধি কে কে উক্ত কাজে দায়িত্বরত ছিল? তারা কি তাদের দায়িত্ব ঠিকঠাক পালন করেছে? মনে হয় না। করলে আজ ঢাকার এই অবস্থা হতো না। মাথার মধ্যে সারাদিন-রাত ক্ষমতায় থাকার বা ক্ষমতায় যাওয়ার চিন্তা থাকলে, উন্নয়নমূলক প্লান কী করে আসবে? সমাধান কী তাহলে? – সরকারি কিছু অফিস আদালত ঢাকার বাহিরে নিয়ে আসতে হবে যেগুলো সম্ভব। – ইলেকট্রিক রেল চালু করতে হবে যেন ঢাকার আশেপাশের মানুষ ৩০মিনিটে নিজ নিজ কর্মস্থলে আসতে পারে। জানি এক্ষেত্রে যাতায়াত ভারা বেশি। সরকারতো এমনিতেই রেলক্ষাতে ভর্তুকি দিচ্ছে! জনগনের সুবিধার্থে নাহয় আর একটু ভর্তুকি দিক। – দ...

This way 100 cars on road can be reduced to 25 cars. Organizations should also encourage and support such actions of their staff.
